The Cobot WeldSpace 4.0 is a modular, fully customizable robotic welding shuttle equipped with a collaborative robot that can also be used by operators without training in programming or welding. It is a literally ready-to-use product: a robotic system that allows easy access to automated welding for small and medium-sized enterprises.

Intuitive and easy to use.

The heart of Cobot WeldSpace 4.0 is its ease of use: the DWSP (DEMMELER WeldSpace programming and operating concept), the programming system of the Cobot WeldSpace 4.0, in fact allows you to create professional automated welding programs quickly and easily, with very few clicks. Developed by Demmeler's welding experts, the software is perfectly adapted to the robot and the welding process.

The welder has full access to all relevant functions of the welding system with just one control panel and can select, set and save parameters in the robot controller. On the DWSP user interface, the operator has the possibility to access the welding characteristics and parameters in the jobs library.

In this way, even an operator with no programming knowledge can easily learn to control the robot, using only the three buttons on the multifunction handle.

The multifunctional handle: just press a button

The multifunction handle is the interface between the robot and the operator. Using the buttons on the handle, it is possible to move the robot and select certain actions, supported by the Demmeler assistance system.

By activating the Free-Drive function, the COBOT can be moved manually to the place where welding is to be performed. Waypoints and intermediate sections are programmed by simply pressing a button, while via the Demmeler Cobot interface the operator can access and select the stored welding machine programs with all important parameters. The WeldSpace 4.0 COBOT control also includes templates for optimized standard welding processes that guarantee a perfect and reproducible weld, with the exponentially increased productivity of an automated procedure.
