Pioneer in plasma cutting technology shows its Know-How
For 100 years, Kjellberg Finsterwalde has developed and manufactured sustainable plant equipment for the metalworking industry – made in Germany. For more than 60 years, Kjellberg Finsterwalde has been one of the market leaders in plasma cutting and has committed itself to advancing the continuing digitization of the metalworking industry with innovative industrial products and intensive networking.
Kjellberg presents the plasma cutting system Q – especially the new plasma power source Q 4500. With a cutting current range of up to 450 A, it is the most powerful plasma power source for the complex requirements of digitalized production. The power sources of the Q-Series combine precise plasma cutting and marking at the best level and enables the user to make precise plasma cuts up to 120 mm. High cutting speeds reduce costs and increase efficiency. The browser-based HMI Q-Desk developed by Kjellberg provides process data and information of all system components in real time on standard devices (such as smartphone, tablet) independent of location. All data can be transferred and processed via the Ethernet interface using the MQTT protocol. The Kjellberg eService ensures reliability in production through remote diagnostics, remote monitoring and regular updates.
With just a few settings, the plasma cutting units of the Smart Focus series from Kjellberg Finsterwalde achieve excellent results in the cutting range from 1 to 100 mm. Even under demanding conditions, highest cutting quality and speed are realised. Therefore, we use our proven cutting technologies such as Contour Cut for cutting mild steel. Small contours, narrow webs and holes can be cut in excellent quality with a ratio of 1:1 (diameter to material thickness). Contour Cut Speed allows the cutting of contours with a speed that is up to 50 % faster.
